Gentry Beach has more than 23 years of experience identifying and unlocking value within companies. Gentry brings to Highground an extensive network and exceptional ability to discover market opportunities. With his longtime business partner, Rob Vollero, Gentry founded and managed Vollero Beach Capital Partners, a global hedge fund based in New York and Dallas.

Prior to Vollero Beach, Gentry was a Portfolio Manager at Touradji Capital and helped manage portfolios at Solstice Equity and the BBT Funds. He began his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. Gentry earned a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

He lives in Tyler, Texas, with his wife of 23 years and their five children.

Rob Vollero

Rob Vollero has over 20 years of experience investing in both public and private equity markets. Rob has extensive knowledge in evaluating, owning, and managing businesses that enhances Highground’s offering to clients and company partners around the world. With his longtime business partner, Gentry Beach, Rob founded and managed Vollero Beach Capital Partners, a global hedge fund based in New York and Dallas.

Prior to Vollero Beach, Rob was a Portfolio Manager at Touradji Capital and helped manage portfolios at Solstice Equity and the BBT Funds. Rob began his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. A former collegiate golfer, Rob still competes in amateur golf tournaments around the US.

Rob is a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of Yale University and lives in New York with his wife and two children.

Harrison Westmoreland

Harrison Westmoreland has over 12 years of experience leading teams, operations, and projects with a clear focus on value creation. Harrison’s career has encompassed technical roles, operational management, and company leadership that brings a holistic business perspective to the Highground team.

He began his career in the Energy Industry as a Field Engineer with Baker Hughes, worked his way into various leadership roles with a public E&P, and later formed his own Partnership focusing on A&D advisory services. He has played an integral role in multiple business transactions and enjoys working alongside driven leadership teams.

Harrison earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife and two children.

Kyle Goracke

Kyle Goracke has over 12 years of experience guiding company operations in start-up, established, and newly capital-backed businesses. Throughout his career, Kyle has focused on operational efficiencies within companies, bringing valuable insight and instincts to the Highground team. He has spent much of his time in the Energy Industry assisting in the growth of multiple companies serving in both technical and leadership roles. He began his career as an Oil & Gas Field Engineer with GoFrac before moving to Oilfield Holdings and later Silverback Chemical, among other endeavors and successful ventures.

Kyle attended the Colorado School of Mines where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics and lettered in football all four years. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife and three children. solutions, and managing companies across a wide variety of industries,

Marvin Igelman

Marvin brings extensive expertise in technology-driven business growth, particularly in the AI and software sectors. As former CEO of EVNTL, he led advancements in AI-driven event detection for the security industry until its acquisition in 2021. Prior to this, he served as CEO of Breaking Data Corporation, a company focused on semantic search and AI solutions. Beyond his leadership roles, he has acted as a consultant for numerous tech companies and launched several successful ventures.

Kelli Neilson

Kelli Neilson has over 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas and Commercial Insurance accounting. She has a passion for every detail relating to the financial success of a company. With a strong accounting background, Kelli provides her team with guidance on accounting best practices, coaching on GAAP compliance, and provides Management with full financial visibility. Kelli’s career started at Devon Energy, and she has worked her way through all areas of accounting, engineering data management, various system projects, and accounting leadership. She worked full time while completing her bachelor’s degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Accounting. Kelli currently lives in Odessa, Texas, with her husband of 20 years and their two children.

Nathan Clark

Nathan is a battle-tested operative with a background in political campaign management and fundraising. With experience managing campaigns at both the local and federal levels, Nathan has successfully raised millions for various candidates and causes. Known for his ability to lead fast-paced teams to victory, he brings a strategic and results-driven approach to every project.

Nathan studied Business Administration and Political Science while playing football at East Carolina University. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his fiancée and two dogs.
