Rob Vollero has over 20 years of experience investing in both public and private equity markets. Rob has extensive knowledge in evaluating, owning, and managing businesses that enhances Highground’s offering to clients and company partners around the world. With his longtime business partner, Gentry Beach, Rob founded and managed Vollero Beach Capital Partners a global hedge fund based in New York and Dallas which, in 2016, they merged into Citadel LLC, one of the world’s largest investment firms. Prior to Vollero Beach, Rob was a Portfolio Manager at Touradji Capital and helped manage portfolios at Solstice Equity and the BBT Funds. Rob began his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. A former collegiate golfer, Rob still competes in amateur golf tournaments around the US. Rob is a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of Yale University and lives in New York with his wife and two children.
Gentry Beach has more than 23 years of experience identifying and unlocking value within companies. Gentry brings to Highground an extensive network and exceptional ability to discover market opportunities. He began his career as an investment banker on Morgan Stanley’s Energy team in New York before leaving the firm in 2000 to co-manage Solstice Equity, a Bass Family fund invested in the commodities sectors. In 2005, he moved his team to Touradji Capital Management, where they managed a portfolio of public and private investments. Gentry and business partner Rob Vollero subsequently founded Vollero Beach Capital Partners as an investment firm focused on equity investments in the commodities sectors. Gentry earned a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Tyler, Texas, with his wife of 23 years and their five children.
Todd Rader is a businessman and entrepreneur that has spent the last two decades building and acquiring companies across multiple sectors. After beginning his career founding and later divesting an industrial service company, Todd managed a single-family office where he led numerous transactions over a 10-year period. The diverseness of companies, experiences, and leadership gives him the foundation to do what he enjoys the most – driving growth and working as part of a team to make a company successful. Todd studied International Trade and Finance at Louisiana State University. He lives in Austin, Texas, with his two daughters and enjoys golf and tennis in his spare time.
Harrison Westmoreland has over 12 years of experience leading teams, operations, and projects with a clear focus on value creation. Harrison’s career has encompassed technical roles, operational management, and company leadership that brings a holistic business perspective to the Highground team. He began his career in Upstream Oil & Gas as a Field Engineer with Baker Hughes, worked his way into various leadership roles with a public E&P, and later formed his own Partnership focusing on A&D advisory services. He has played an integral role in multiple business transactions and enjoys the creation of new ventures. Harrison earned a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife and two children.
Kyle Goracke has over 12 years of experience guiding company operations in start-up, established, and newly capital-backed businesses. Throughout his career, Kyle has focused on operational efficiencies within companies, bringing valuable insight and instincts to the Highground team. He has spent much of his time in the Energy Industry assisting in the growth of multiple companies serving in both technical and leadership roles. He began his career as an Oil & Gas Field Engineer with GoFrac before moving to Oilfield Holdings and later Silverback Chemical, among other endeavors and successful ventures. Kyle attended the Colorado School of Mines where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics and lettered in football all four years. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife and three children.
